Swindon Police are appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage following a fail to stop collision in the town.

The incident happened at approximately 8.10pm on February 2 at the junction of Sudeley Way to Woollaton Close.

A dark coloured vehicle clipped a 13-year-old boy who was riding a pedal bike, causing him to fall to the ground. He sustained bruises and grazes as a result.

The driver of the vehicle then put his window down, swore at the cyclist and then drove off without providing details or checking on his welfare.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has dash cam footage which could help identify a registration number of the vehicle involved should call 101 and quote crime reference number 54240013362.

Alternatively, they can call CrimeStoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
