A woman has been charged and remanded in custody following the death of another woman at an address in Devizes on Christmas Day.
Stefania Glowka, 63, of Keepers Road, and of Polish nationality, has been charged with murder and her case was heard at Bristol Crown Court this morning (31/12), although she did not appear.
Glowka has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Bristol Crown Court for a PTPH hearing on March 20, 2026, with a provisional trial date set on June 1, 2026.
Formal identification of the victim is still to take place. A preliminary postmortem has been carried out but further information is needed to establish the cause of death.
