Man arrested following drugs warrant in Swindon

A man has been arrested after officers carried out a drugs warrant at an address in Swindon.

Officers executed the warrant at a property in Bessemer Close earlier today (26/06).

A 24-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class B drugs. He is currently in custody at Gablecross Police Station.

Wiltshire Police also seized a quantity of drugs, cash, scales and paraphernalia.

PC Nathan Martin, from Swindon Community Policing Team, said: “We know people in Swindon have concerns about drug dealing and we are committed to identifying offenders, arresting them and disrupting this criminality.

“Not only does drug dealing cause great harm to our communities, but there is the associated illegal activity, such as anti-social behaviour and violence.”
