Swindon Police are appealing for witnesses following a report of an assault and criminal damage which took place on Eastcott Hill.

At roughly 5.30am on Saturday, 30 November, two unknown men were arguing in the street.

A woman approached them and was struck twice in the eye, suffering facial injuries which are not thought to be life-changing. One of the men then threw a brick at her door.

The men left on foot, walking up Eastcott Hill.

One is described as white, with ginger hair, wearing a hoodie and a black puffer coat.

A police spokesperson said: "If you saw what happened, please contact us on 101 quoting reference number 54240141463. Or you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
