Swindon Police are appealing for witnesses after a vehicle failed to stop after hitting a man off his e-scooter in the town.

Between approximately 2.50pm - 3.05pm on 9 September, a 20-year-old man wearing orange high visibility clothing was riding an e-scooter along Swindon Road from the Dockle Farmhouse area towards Greenbridge.

As he approached the junction of Stratton Road, the man was hit by a vehicle, which caused him to fall from the e-scooter, lose consciousness and sustain injuries to his face and arms.

The driver of the vehicle involved did not stop and did not report the collision.

A spokesperson from Swindon Police said: "We’d like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have dash cam footage. If you can help, call 101 and quote crime reference number 54220095282."
