Girlguiding Mannington commemorated King Charles III during a district event at Millbrook School, Freshbrook.
More than 70 Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and their volunteer leaders came together for a day filled with Royal-themed activities and games.
Girlguiding Mannington District includes two Rainbow units, three Brownie units, two Guide units, and one Ranger unit, all part of Girlguiding UK, which is the leading charity for girls and young women in the UK.
Throughout the day, there were multiple activities to participate in, including decorating crowns, crafting the crown jewels, making a tealight holder, royal-themed jigsaw and finger painting the Union Flag.
The event was also an opportunity for the different units across the district to get together as one community, encouraging all members from different age groups to make new friends and have fun.
Organisers said it was a great success, with each member receiving a unique badge to celebrate the special occasion, designed by Bethany from 2nd Shaw Brownies as part of a competition across the district.
A spokesperson for Mannington District said: "We would love some new volunteers to join us to help support our young girls, so if you would like to get involved in Girlguiding UK and are aged 18 and over, please contact Katie Howard for further information regarding volunteering opportunities.
"Or, if would like to join a Rainbow, Brownie, Guide or Ranger unit, please also reach out to Katie at [email protected]."
