Swindon's Great Western Hospital says it is pleased to be able to relax visiting restrictions further across its maternity services.

Staff said these restrictions will be able to be relaxed further now that the UK is moving to live with covid.

Now, one birthing partner can visit from as early as 9am.

The birthing partner will also be allowed to stay overnight for induction of labour, and for the first night postnatally.

An additional visitor will now be allowed to attend the hospital between 1:30pm – 7pm.

Siblings will also be able to visit between 2pm - 5pm.

Members of the public can find more information about visiting guidelines for GWH at https://www.gwh.nhs.uk/patients-and-visitors/coronavirus-covid-19/visitor-guidance/
