Next month will see GWH open its doors to members of the public to take a tour and learn more about its new developments and upcoming plans.
GWH will be holding its open day on Saturday, 16 July.
The open day will showcase everything from tours of the new Radiotherapy Centre, expansion land, new mobile diagnostic facilities, Urgent Treatment Centre and Energy Centre, information and engagement stands from teams across the Trust, interactive exhibitions and a chance to meet the people who provide all our local emergency services.
Guided walking tours around the GWH NHS Foundation Trust’s newest builds can be booked in advance, giving people the opportunity to hear more about how they were developed and the benefits they will bring to healthcare in Swindon and Wiltshire.
There will also be virtual tours available for those who want a behind-the-scenes look into some of the Trust’s busiest services.
A spokesperson from GWH said: "Staff from different across the organisation will also be on hand to share information, updates and good news from their departments – shining a light on the real work Trust staff are doing every day."
The Trust says it is pleased to have partnered with both Barnes Coaches and Nationwide Building Society on the community open day. People are invited to park at Nationwide on Pipers Way and be driven by coach to and from the hospital.
Guided tours can be booked online at https://register.enthuse.com/ps/event/GWHOpenDayWalkingTour.
