Members of the Haydon Wick Parish Council have paid their respects to the fallen soldiers of the world wars with an intimate ceremony.
Councillors gathered outside the Haydon Wick Parish Council building to place a wreath and remember the lost soldiers.
On the parish council's Facebook page, the team included the quote "At the going down of the Sun and in the morning, we will remember them" alongside some images of the ceremony.
A spokesperson from the parish council added: "Councillors Baker Lee and Brown paid their respects to our fallen heroes, on behalf of all the parish's councillors, and on behalf of the community of Haydon Wick."
A poppy wreath was placed at the feet of the metal soldier statue that can be found outside the council building. There was also bagpipe music played as part of the service.
