Independent charity Crimestoppers is offering a reward of up to £20,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of whoever is responsible for the murder of Graham Pennycook in Ludgershall.
Mr Pennycook, 64, left home on the morning of Thursday 24 September to walk his dog on his regular route near Perham Down.
When the dog returned without him that morning, his wife raised the alarm. Mr Pennycook's body was later found in woodland in Perham Down, and investigators believe he was assaulted in the woods, close to where he was found.
Anyone with information can contact Crimestoppers 100% anonymously, online at crimestoppers-uk.org or by phone on 0800 555 111. The charity never asks for your name, and nothing a person tells them can be traced back to its source.
Police believe Mr Pennycook was about 40 to 45 minutes into his regular walk when he was attacked.
Crimestoppers is appealing for information from anyone who was in or around Perham Down between 10am and 11am on Thursday 24 September 2026 or has dashcam footage from the area between 9am and 6pm. Even a small detail could help.
Beth Simpson, Regional Manager Central South West at the charity Crimestoppers, said: "Graham went out for a familiar walk and never came home. His family are left without him and without answers.
“If you know something about what happened but do not want to speak to the police, you can share with Crimestoppers anonymously. Even a detail you think is small could help.”
Information passed directly to the police will not qualify for a reward.
Crimestoppers guarantees complete anonymity, meaning that people who call or get in touch online can pass on what they know without ever giving any personal details. Computer IP addresses are never traced. Telephone calls are never recorded, there is no caller ID display and no 1471 facility.
To claim a reward, a reward code must be asked for when calling us on 0800 555 111. A Crimestoppers spokesperson said: "If you contact our charity via our online form anonymously, the ‘Keep in contact’ facility must be used, and a reward code must be requested on your initial contact with us."
