Jellytots playgroup says its young attendees enjoy learning and playing in the garden spaces available to them during its morning and afternoon sessions.
Jellytots playgroup caters for 3 - 4 year olds in the West Swindon area.
The group are located within Brook Field Primary School and currently operate morning and afternoon sessions Monday - Friday, in line with the school day timings.
The Jellytots team say they pride themselves upon providing a safe, developmentally appropriate, nurturing environment that promotes social, emotional, cognitive and physical growth, as well as embracing a positive self-image and a love of learning.
The playgroup has an expansive outdoors area that the playgroup team work their sessions around.
The Jellytots team listed some of the activities that the children have previously enjoyed:
- Picking strawberries and getting to enjoy some at snacktime
- Playing on the pirate ship outdoor playhouses
- Making dishes and potions at the Mud Kitchen - the team say the herb tyres offer a range of additional ingredients to these activities
- Making sandcastles or digging for treasure in the large sand pits
- Water days in the summer are popular - the Jellytots team say they also give children the opportunity to get changed, dried and dressed during these water based-activities
Jan, Manager at Jellytots said: "We are very fortunate to have a super outside area and have use of schools woodland walk. We feel that outside learning is paramount to a child education so you will find us there in all weathers.
"Working in partnership with parents/carers, we look forward to helping children learn and develop during their time with us.
"We welcome people to find out what parents think by reading our google reviews."
