Witness appeal for assault on teen resulting in ambulance attendance

Officers are currently conducting enquiries in the Kingshill area of Swindon following an assault on a teen boy that resulted in him needing ambulance assistance.

Swindon Police were called to Kingshill, near to the mini market, shortly after 12.30pm today - 4 October.
 
A report was given that a 18-year-old male had been assaulted, after three people had been involved in a disorder.
 
The 18-year-old male sustained injuries to his hand and shoulder believed to have been caused by a bottle and has been taken to hospital for treatment.

Det Insp Rachel Hardy said: “We are currently assessing CCTV footage from the area but we would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or anyone who may have been passing who may have dash cam footage which could be relevant to our investigation.”

Ambulance crews have attended the scene and are treating the victim.

The police say their enquiries are currently ongoing.
