A total of 25 young Swindon people heard a hard-hitting presentation about knife crime thanks to local churches.

Jordan Turner and Danyelle King, both believers, from the Change Lives No To Knives initiative joined forces with John Cheek, Baptist Minister at Lawn Community Church to explained the cruel reality of knife crime.
The venue was the youth club of Kings' Christian Centre (AoG), in Old Town.
For 20 minutes, the team exposed the lie that knives provide protection, and afterwards spent time chatting with a number of the teenagers and answered their questions.
Deputy Mayor Imtiyaz Shaikh was an invited guest.
The presentation was the first of a series of presentations to be given to church youth groups around Swindon, and the churches hope that it will also be taken into secondary schools.
Police data has shown that knife-crime in Swindon increased significantly between April 2022 and March 2023.
Pastor Malcolm MacQueen said: "The meeting went very well and it was really excellent having Danyelle and Jordan come along."
