Swindon Police are appealing for witnesses following a knife point robbery of a bike that took place in the Shaw Ridge area of Swindon.
In the early hours of Sunday morning (22 Jan), at around 12.50am, a 15-year-old boy had his bicycle stolen from him by three suspects who had their faces covered and with one brandishing a machete.
The incident happened within Shaw Ridge Park, Swindon, next to the exercise area.
The suspects came out of a bush and pointed the machete at the boy, demanding he dropped his belongings.
The bike, a grey Marin Bolinas Ridge mountain bike, was then taken from him. The boy was not injured.
The suspects are described as wearing all black clothing with ski masks. They headed towards the bridge that passes over Tewkesbury Way, in the general area of Grange Park.
A spokesperson from Swindon Police said: "Were you in the area at this time? Did you see anything suspicious? If you did, please call 101 quoting incident number 54230007347.
"Alternatively, you can provide any information anonymously via Crimestoppers at www.crimestoppers-uk.org or by calling 0800 555111.
"We advise members of the public to remain vigilant and to report any suspicious activity to the police by calling 101 or 999 in cases of an emergency."
