All but six of the 175 properties at Redrow Homes Thames Valley's Abbey Farm have been sold.

Five house types are available at the Sapphire Road development, each offering four bedrooms and a spacious garden.

There is a communal outdoor play area and green space nearby.

Measures are in place to allow househunters to visit safely, including the facility to book exclusive, unaccompanied appointments, screening safety videos ahead of appointments, ensuring sales consultants are always two metres away from customers and installing protective screens and hand sanitiser throughout the sales centre.

A thorough cleanse is performed after each appointment and opening hours have been extended to 7pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays to accommodate demand.

The Cambridge, starting from £439,995, is designed with the modern dynamic of family life in mind, and has an open-plan kitchen and dining area with additional space for a family area, playroom or study.

Its ground floor also features a functional utility room, as well as a separate lounge. Upstairs, there is a family bathroom, a master bedroom with ensuite and three further bedrooms, and the Cambridge is billed as perfect for a large family or those looking for multi-functional space.

The Sunningdale, available from £515,995, is described as providing the perfect balance between shared rooms and personal space. The large home includes a double garage, a utility room and a kitchen-dining area which opens onto a spacious garden.

In addition to a lounge, there is a separate snug at the rear of the house which the developer says is perfect not only as additional space for the family to relax in, but also as a playroom, office or gym.

Upstairs, there are two bedrooms with ensuites, in addition to a family bathroom and two further rooms.

The four-bedroom Balmoral, priced from £595,995, has an open-plan kitchen-dining area described as the perfect location for spending time together as a family. A large lounge spans the depth of the house and a separate family room serves as a multi-functional space which could be used as a retreat for children or private study.

Sarah Boyce, sales director for Redrow Homes Thames Valley, said: “Life in lockdown has reinforced what people are looking for in a new home, with a garden and flexible indoor space for a study, gym or playroom high on househunter’s requirements.

“Due to the popularity of our previous plots, we’re sure that our final homes will be reserved very soon, particularly with such a variety of house types available and an established community feel at the development.

“We’d invite anyone who likes the idea of spacious, luxury living to book an appointment so they can come and take a look around for themselves.”

Alongside the robust procedures in place to support customers wishing to physically view developments, Redrow has invested in technology to enable a smoother virtual transaction. Through the My Redrow customer portal, buyers can view different developments and plots online, select chosen plots and select and review optional upgrades to their home.
