Lawn Community Church is extending an open invitation for everyone to join their open-air carol singing, on Saturday 16 December
Lawn Community Church members, in association with Lawn Community Association, are inviting the Swindon community to join them this Christmas at their open-air carol concert.
The event on Saturday 16 December will see the Church, alongside the Salvation Army, leading people in singing traditional Christmas Carols.
It will take place outside Lawn Community Centre in Guildford Avenue and will run between 5.30-6.00pm.
Afterwards, free mince pies, mulled wine and other refreshments will be available inside the centre - accompanied by Dr. Stephen Brooke on the piano, singing Christmas songs old and new.
John Cheek, Minister for Lawn Community Church, said: "Last year, between 60 and 70 people ignored the sub-zero temperatures to sing their hearts out!
"Carol sheets will be provided; just bring your voice and wrap up warm."
