Seventeen-year-old suffers leg injury in collision near Cricklade

Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses after a teenager suffered a serious leg injury in a collision near Cricklade.

A 17-year-old suffered a leg injury following a collision near Cricklade yesterday - 24 November.

Shortly after 5pm, a BMW was travelling from Chelworth Business Park towards the staggered crossroads, when it was in collision with a motorcyclist who was travelling north from Purton on the B4553. 

The rider, who is from Cricklade, suffered a serious injury to his leg and was taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol by air ambulance. 

The force says it would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision, including anyone who may have dash cam footage.

Members of the public with information are being asked to call 101 and quote log number 195 of November 24.
