A St Joseph's Catholic College pupil was taken to hospital earlier this afternoon - 30 November - following what the police describe as a medical incident.
The force issued a statement on social media saying members of the public might have noticed the presence of emergency services at the Ocotal Way school.
The statement added: "We were in attendance to support colleagues who were responding to a medical incident at the school.
"A pupil has been taken to hospital where they are receiving appropriate care."
