Swindon Borough Council release updates on the junction located off of Cricklade Road.
The council announces that contractor, Alun Griffiths Ltd have completed the final resurfacing work on the northern end of Cricklade Road, Beechcroft Road, and work taking place on Whitworth road to add final layers of tarmac to the arm of the Moonrakers junction.
A spokesperson for Swindon Borough Council said: "The contractor has also completed the installation of traffic signals across the junction and is progressing work to construct traffic islands on Headlands Grove and Chestnut Avenue, which will be ongoing into next week.
"The footpaths around Beechcroft Road have been built up and are awaiting the final surfacing layer. The contractor is also progressing work on the footpath along the shops on Cricklade Road."
