Swindon Police are appealing for information after two motocross bikes were stolen during a burglary in the town.

The two motocross bikes were taken from a metal storage container at a property in Cumberland Road, in the early hours of Monday morning - 18 April.

They were a Husqvana TC 125 cc in grey and white and a Husqvana FC 250 cc in blue and white.

PC Teresa Herbert, from the local policing team, said: “We have viewed CCTV footage from the local area and can quite clearly see the bikes being removed at around 3.45am on Monday, and being taken along Burford Avenue and onto Norton Grove.

“We want to hear from anyone with information, including anyone who may have been disturbed by the noise of the motorbikes being ridden away, or who may have seen these bikes for sale since they were stolen.

“If you live locally and have private CCTV or video doorbell, we would ask you to check your footage to see if you have recorded anything of interest.

“If you can help in any way, please call us on 101, quoting crime reference 54220039444. Alternatively you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.”
