Swindon Police have released a new CCTV image as part of an investigation into a robbery in the town last week.
It happened at around 1.50pm last Thursday - 3 June - in the Broadgreen area.
The female victim was walking home from the town centre when an unknown man followed her into one of the alleyways near Graham Street.
He pulled her handbag from her arm, causing her to fall to the ground and suffer cuts and grazes to her arms and legs.
The suspect ran off in the direction of Fleming Way.
The man is described as white, likely to be over 6ft tall, with short brown hair. He wore a grey short-sleeved top, black trousers and was either wearing or carrying a black jumper and a black face mask.
He is also believed to have distinctive tattoos down the side of his neck and on his arm.
A police spokesperson said: "If you recognise the man in the CCTV image please do not approach him, but call Wiltshire Police on 101 quoting crime reference number 54210053051.
"Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111."
