Today (Tuesday 28 April) is International Workers' Memorial Day, and this year will be marked with a minute's silence at 11am.
At this time, the country will fall silent to pay tribute to the sacrifice made by so many workers during the pandemic, to remember those who've sadly lost their lives, and to thank all those who continue to do vital work keeping public services running.
Help spread the word about the minute's silence, by encouraging as many family, friends and colleagues to take part.

Swindon’s Bus Company drivers will be observing the minute’s silence at 11am, in memory of NHS staff and other key workers who have passed away whilst fighting COVIID-19.
The local bus operator, whose drivers themselves are key workers, will join the rest of the nation for the tribute.
“Our drivers are keen to remember those who have lost their lives in the fight against coronavirus, and they will pull over - if it is safe to do so - in order to observe the silence,” said Nikki Honer, Swindon’s Bus Company head of communications.
“People across the region owe a debt of gratitude to the many key workers who do everything possible to keep them safe and well during these troubling times. I am sure there will be people who will also wish to join our drivers and stay silent at 11am.
“COVID-19 has had a profound effect on all our lives, and our drivers are doing an incredible job, ensuring NHS and other key workers are able to travel and carry out their vital roles. All of us at Swindon’s Bus Company will be sparing a thought for all those who have lost their lives doing all they can to help and protect others.”
