The Swindon and Wiltshire Pride team delivered the flag to be flown as Pride Month is marked at the Civic Offices.

Pride team members Phoenix and Hannah dropped off the flag and were greeted by council leader Cllr Jim Robbins.

Pride Month takes place every year in June and is a celebration designed to recognise the influence of the LGBTQ+ community.

Celebrating diversity and people's right to live how they choose without discrimination, Pride Month promotes positivity and equal rights for all.

This year's Swindon & Wiltshire Pride event will be held on Saturday 10 August at GWR Park, running from 11am to 8pm.

The day will begin with the traditional Pride March, and participants are asked to arrive at 11am in the space outside Regent Circus SN1 3DQ.

The Pride March will start promptly at 11.30am and make its way through the town centre towards the Town Hall and then to GWR Park, ready to begin Pride itself.
