Police hunt man who racially abused man and his daughter in Iceland

Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses to an incident of racially aggravated abuse in Swindon at the weekend.

At approximately 11.50am, on Sunday 28 June, a man in his 50s and his daughter who is aged in her 20s, were shopping at the Food Warehouse by Iceland in Barnfield Road when a man who was not known to them made racist comments towards them. 

The man’s actions left the pair feeling alarmed and distressed.

PC Will Saunders said: “This kind of behaviour is completely unacceptable and will not be tolerated in our community.

“If you were in the shop at the time and think you may have witnessed this incident, please get in touch.”
