Protected bird of prey believed to have been shot near Purton

Police are appealing for information after a protected bird of prey was found dead in a rural location - Greenhills to the south of Purton.

A Red Kite, which is believed to have been shot, was found on 4 February at about 5pm.
The Red Kite is a protected species which is listed under the Schedule 1 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act.
Police would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time or who may have dash cam footage taken from the area.
