Watch Manager Steve Field from Swindon has been recognised for leading and managing a complex Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service project.
His task was to bring together staff training records and requirements for the service.
Steve received a Making A Difference Award, sponsored by Airbus, during his retirement presentation Westlea fire station, watched by colleagues, friends and family.
Group Manager Wayne Presley, Head of Operational Training, made the presentation and said: “It was a pleasure to present Steve with this award.
"His experience and dedication has allowed for the successful delivery of such a complex project, which resulted in the accurate recording of staff training and competencies throughout the whole workforce.”
