Swindon Police are investigating a robbery at a shop in Swindon and are appealing for information after releasing CCTV images.

At approximately 9pm on January 1, a man entered the Co-Op store in Windbrook Meadow and threatened staff before jumping over the counter and making off with alcohol, cigarettes and cash.

It is believed the man left the scene on a bike, turning left out of the store and on to the cycle lane that starts at Taylor Crescent and onto Highworth Road.

Extensive enquiries have been carried out and officers would now like to hear from anyone who may recognise the man pictured.

Those with information are being asked to call 101 and quote crime reference number 54220000505.

Alternatively, members of the public can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
