Royal Wootton Bassett residents are invited to an open day at the fire station on Station Road on Sunday 18 August.
The event will run from 10am to 2pm, and will allow visitors to look around the fire station and find out more about the appliances based there. There will also be various demonstrations by the crew.
Other attractions on the day will include activities for children, including a colouring competition, and a chance for people interested in becoming an on-call firefighter to have a chat with the crew.
Watch Manager Tom McInerney said: “We want this to be a great day for the whole family, and we’re looking forward to welcoming our local community and hopefully meeting some potential new recruits.
"We would remind people that there’s no parking at the fire station, but we’re just a short walk from the town centre. We hope to see you on Sunday!”
