Swindon's Prime Theatre needs young performers aged 11-18 for a Festival of Tomorrow 'Science Busking' project.

The young people will work with professional actors and scientists during half term to rehearse and perform a new piece of spectacular street theatre.

Prime said in a message to potential volunteers: "You’ll be part of an ensemble group learning, devising skills and creating costumed characters to share some madcap experiments with the public at the Swindon Designer Outlet during February half term.

"To get involved, you’ll need to be available for the full three days and able to work from a base at the Steam Museum on Sunday 11, Monday 12 and Thursday 15 February.

"Short street performances take place on Thursday 15 for everyone to enjoy. You don’t need any science knowledge to take part or experience in drama, just be ready to be part of a group bringing science by surprise to Swindon shoppers!"
