Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses to a robbery which took place in Shaw Forest, West Swindon.

The incident happened at approximately 3pm yesterday (25/10), near the Shaw Forest car park.

A teenage boy on a push bike was approached by two males on foot. The two males pushed the victim off of his bike and threatened him with weapons demanding he give them his bike. The suspects have then fled the scene with the bike.

The suspects are described as white males, aged 16 to 17, 5 foot 8 inches tall and wearing all black clothing, including balaclavas. One of the males was described as wearing a black puffa style coat with orange writing across the front reading “ellesse” and an orange logo above it.

The stolen bike is a black KONA bike, similar to the one in the photograph.  It has writing on both sides of the frame, one side reading KONA and the other reading SUPREME.  The bike also has very distinctive bright blue handle bars.

PC Kiah Vaughan said: “We would like to hear from anyone who was in Shaw Forest during the afternoon of Sunday 25 October who may have witnessed this incident or may have seen or heard something suspicious in this area around this time.

"Fortunately the victim was not injured but has been left feeling, understandably, very shaken.
