Repairs to Shaw Ridge footbridge will be taking place later this month.
The bridge, which spans Tewkesbury Way (B4553) will be closed from Monday, 19 May for approximately 15 days.
This is so the deteriorating tarmac on the approaches to the bridge can be repaired as well as minor repairs to the bridge structure itself.
During the closure, a diversion will be in place across Tewkesbury Way via the underpass between Walter Close and Kerry Close.
Lane closures will also be in place along Tewkesbury Way, using two-way traffic lights, to enable the contractor to safely access the bridge structure.
