Overnight snowfall has meant that Swindon has woken up to deep snow with police and council gritters out in force to ensure everybody's safety.

Drivers are urged to seek alternative routes to avoid delays if intending to use the A346 between Chiseldon and Marlborough.
Both carriageways have been closed following reports of a road traffic collision involving a jack knifed lorry and a car.
And there are also reports of Kingshill becoming impassable with reports coming in of roads across the borough facing the same problems.
The council has scrambled the gritters team who will be out to try and clear as much as possible.
The winter heroes will be back on the road at 8:45am to treat over 200 miles of the Borough's roads including:
? major A and B roads
? access roads to most villages
? main roads to hospitals
? frequently serviced bus routes
? access roads to COVID-19 testing centres
