South Swindon Parish Councillor Janine Howarth and volunteers from the Mechanics' Institution Trust, Swindon have planted the last of the Blossom Circle trees at GWR Park.
The parish council team say the blossom trees that line the Church Place entrance to the park were also planted earlier this week.
The parish council are also teaming up with the National Trust, Historic England and Swindon Borough Council to deliver a series of improvements to GWR Park, as part of the Swindon Heritage Action Zone.
Alongside this blossom tree circle, the parish council gardeners have recently planted a circle of Euonymous Jean Hughes Trees around GWR Park's WW1 memorial sculpture. More information about this can be found online at https://swindonlink.com/news/sspc-ww1-memorial-tree-circle/
