Members of the South Swindon Parish Council are inviting the public to discover more about local wildlife at a popular Swindon nature hotspot.
The South Swindon Parish Council team will be joining forces with the Friends of Shaftesbury Lake to host the Wildlife Discovery Day.
The event will take place at Shaftesbury Lake on 15 April, between 10am-2pm.
A spokesperson from the parish council said: "Join us if you want to learn more about the local plant and wildlife while joining in for some fun activities, including: pond dipping, nature discovery trail, face painting, crafts and much more!"
This Wildlife Discovery Day is part of the Swindon Blossom Festival - a series of events taking place throughout Spring, with aims of celebrating the beauty of blossom and nature in the Swindon area.
