South Swindon Parish Council have announced that its new street cleaning barrow is now out on the Swindon streets.
This new equipment is said to have the addition of a powerful vacuum that improves the user's capabilities for cleaning up smaller debris - including broken glass and cigarette ends.
The vacuum can also clear up some weeds and weed seeds, which aims to eventually result in a reduction in the amount of weeds that come back over time.
A spokesperson for the parish council said: "This improved piece of equipment is a part of the Parish Council's investment programme for grounds and street cleaning equipment and vehicles.
"We recognise improved equipment helps our staff deliver better results for residents."
