Swindon Town Football Club and NHS Swindon Talking Therapies are taking a united approach to raise awareness of free mental health support available across the local community.
With around one in four people experiencing common mental health problems such as low mood and anxiety, the partnership will use the football club’s platform to spark important conversations.
In a powerful visual statement, one in four seats in the Arkell’s stand and Don Rogers’ stand will highlight the service—reflecting how many people may benefit from support.
The partnership, which aims to help to bring mental health support closer to local people will see NHS Swindon Talking Therapies featured in matchday engagement reinforcing the message that everybody can tackle mental health together because no one is alone.
The aim is to raise awareness across the entire stadium by helping to fill one in every four seats in support of this important mental health initiative at the Nigel Eady County Ground.

Swindon Town Football Club CEO Anthony Hall said: "As we all know, supporting mental health is a fight we must all face together, and it is incredibly important that, as communities, we continue to come together to raise awareness and make sure people know that support is available.
"Therefore, it is fantastic to see local people and businesses coming together here at Nigel Eady County to help shine a light on mental health and encourage those who may be struggling to seek support.

NHS Swindon Talking Therapies is a free and confidential service provided by Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust.
It supports people aged 16 and over who are registered with a GP in Swindon and experiencing common mental health difficulties, including worry, low mood and anxiety.
