Stratton St Margaret Parish Council have announced this year’s Stratton Festival for the local community.
It will be held on Saturday, 15 July at Meadowcroft Community Centre and Field Space, SN2 7JX, from noon to 5pm.
With last year’s event seeing around 4,000 attendees throughout the day, the parish council promises many exciting things that will happen from start to finish.
There will be live music, a funfair, inflatables, birds of prey, a beer tent, a climbing wall and much more.
The money raised will be donated to the Chairman’s Charity, which will be agreed in May.

The parish council is also inviting people to attend the 2023 Parish Assembly, which will be held at Grange Leisure centre, Grange Drive, SN3 4JY, from 7-9pm on Wednesday, 26 April.
Electors, the public and the press are invited to hear reports from the chairman, committee chairs, community groups and organisations the parish council has funded during the year.
There shall then be an update from all committee chairs and the chairman on what they envision doing next within their Parish boundaries.
The assembly will give the public and local residents the opportunity to have their say and ask voice queries they may have.
Stratton St Margaret Parish Council will include some nibbles, tea and coffee to help create a great community gathering.
