Last November, the Swindon Hub partnered with full-service creative agency, GEL Studios to help them run the Heat the Hub campaign which raised £8,245.
Swindon Hub is a safe and accessible space for the community to meet, work, play, discuss, learn and share resources.
It can be found next to Wilkos in the Parade in the town centre.
The Heat the Hub campaign aims to provide a warm and safe space for the local community to gather over the winter when many are facing increasing fuel bills.
All donations made as part of the fundraising campaign would be used to cover the cost of gas and electricity over the winter months.
The GEL Studios team offered to help Swindon Hub by providing them with graphic design and marketing materials in the form of flyers, marketing advice, press releases and photography.

The month-long campaign raised over £8000.
This additional funding meant Swindon Hub was able to provide soup to the neediest within the Swindon community.
Donations can still be made to the Hub when popping into its unit in the Parade.

“Run completely by volunteers, Swindon Hub hopes to reach more people in the community who need safe spaces to socialise, network and participate in activities.
“Swindon Hub is all about making a difference in our community and we feel this campaign has helped us maintain the success of Swindon Hub. All money raised contributed towards our efforts to keep the lights and heating on over the winter”.
