Swindon officers look for owners of bikes following burglary arrest

After arresting a man for non-dwelling burglary, Swindon Central South Neighbourhoods Officers are now looking for the owner of two bicycles.

At 8am this morning - 24 June - Swindon Central South Neighborhoods Officers arrested a 28-year-old man, of no fixed address, on suspicion of a non-dwelling burglary, theft of a pedal cycle and on suspicion of going equipped to steal.

Officers recovered two bikes that are suspected to be subject to crime, but not linked to the initial offences under investigation.

These pedal cycles are adult sized frames:

  • Swifty Amsera electric bike (blue)
  • Carrera Vengeance 27.5 (gold/yellow)

A spokesperson for the Swindon Police said: "If you believe you are the rightful owner of either of these bikes please contact Wiltshire Police via the 101 non-emergency number, quoting crime reference number 5420064736."
