Two teens demand electric bike and show knife during Swindon robbery

Swindon Police are looking for witnesses to a robbery that took place in Swindon where two teens stole a backpack and demanded an electric bike be handed over.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed a robbery that took place in the park near May Close in Swindon at about 6pm on Friday, 9 September.

The two victims were approached by two teenage boys who grabbed one of the men and demanded his electric bike, before the victim was able to cycle away.

The other victim was forced to hand over his Puma backpack.

During the robbery, one of the suspects showed a knife in his waistband.

The suspects are described as white teenage boys, about 5ft 7in tall with medium build and British accents.

One was wearing a black Puffa jacket, black tracksuit trousers, and black trainers. The other was wearing a white t-shirt with a tiger logo, black trousers, and black trainers.

A spokesperson from the Swindon Police said: "Anyone with information is asked to call us on 101 quoting log 54220095351.

"Alternatively you can report anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555111."
