National consultancy Pegasus Group has secured Reserved Matters approval for 146 new homes in Swindon, part of Tadpole Garden Village.
Swindon Borough Council approved the Reserved Matters submission for a mixed residential development of 2 storey homes ranging in size from five-bedroom houses to 2 bed houses and includes 51 affordable homes. The application also included associated roads, parking and landscaping.
Pegasus Group delivered urban design and planning services on behalf of developer Wainhomes. When completed, the new garden village will have provided 1,855 new homes within North Swindon.
Daniel Millward, a senior planner based in Pegasus Group’s Bristol office, said comprehensive and detailed background work prior to submission contributed to the application being recommended for approval.
“Our planning application was fully supported by detailed drawings and developed in collaboration with officers at Swindon Borough Council in order to meet the criteria of the overall design code set out for Tadpole Garden Village.”
Pegasus Group has more than 280 skilled and experienced staff operating from 12 offices throughout the UK.
