Officers investigating an assault in Regent Street, Swindon, are appealing for witnesses to get in touch.
The incident happened at approximately 5pm on March 23.
A woman in her 20s was assaulted by a group of teenagers – she was punched to the head multiple times and went to Great Western Hospital following the assault.
PC Paul Davis said: “We believe there may have been witnesses to this disorder and would urge them to get in touch so we can progress the investigation.
"Violence of this nature will simply not be tolerated within our community."
Anyone who was in the Regent Street area at approximately 5pm on Monday, including anyone who was driving past and may have seen a group of teenagers acting suspiciously, should call 101 and quote crime reference number 54200029393.
