Swindon people have until 11.50pm tomorrow - Tuesday 16 April - to register to vote in the 2 May borough council and Police and Crime Commissioner elections.
Those who fail to register will not be able to cast their ballots in the polls, and Swindon Borough Council has been campaigning for everybody to ensure they are not excluded.
Those previously registered only need to re-register if they have changed their name, address or nationality.
Registration is a simple process and can be done in five minutes at the Government's website.
The council is also reminding people that they must bring an accepted form of photographic ID in order to be able to vote. A list of these can be found here.
People have the option of applying for a free voter ID document, known as a Voter Authority Certificate, and must do so by 5pm on 24 April.
