Last week, Swindon Borough Council's contractors worked overnight on the sections of land at the White Hart roundabout that divide the roads, known as splitter islands.
The final part of this work will be placing temporary road markings onto the roundabout to allow drivers to navigate it more easily. This will be done overnight this Monday (28 Sept) and Tuesday (29 Sept).
This improvement work is all part of the New Eastern Villages (NEV) project.
The NEV is one of the largest planned greenfield developments in the country. It will see around 8,000 homes, new schools, employment spaces and community facilities built to the east of the A419.
