Two people were injured after a fight thought to involve more than 20 people at a West Swindon pub.

Witnesses to what the police describe as large-scale disorder at the Woodlands Edge pub are being sought.
Officers were called to the scene shortly after 11pm on Saturday, 20 November after reports of a large number of people fighting and refusing to leave.

There were two reported minor injuries following the incident, and a 29-year-old man arrested at the scene on suspicion of Actual Bodily Harm has since been released.

PC Carl Bond of Swindon Police said: “Were you in the Woodlands Edge pub on Saturday night or passing by at about 11pm? If so, we would like to hear from you.

“It was a busy evening in this venue and I’m sure there will have been many potential witnesses. If you saw what took place, it’s important that you make contact.”

Anybody who can help with the enquiry is asked to call 101, quoting incident number 54210113456, or else leave information anonymously by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
