This week is World Breastfeeding Week and GWH is reminding people of a community picnic event that is being held in order to celebrate and raise awareness.

This week - 1 - 7 August - is World Breastfeeding Week 2022.

The worldwide week-long campaign aims to bring people together to raise awareness and support for breastfeeding.

To mark this week's campaign, local people are invited to an event at Lydiard Park - organised by the local maternity and neonatal system and support group Maternity Voices Partnership who work with GWH.

The event is taking place on Sunday 8 August, from 12 noon, and will give people the opportunity to find out more about breastfeeding and the local support available to families.

People can find out more information about Maternity Voices Partnership at https://www.bswmaternityvoices.org.uk/
