Police appeal for witness after Swindon man hit by car on Cricklade Road on 14 February

At 8.13pm on Sunday 14 February a man walking along the B4019 Cricklade Road towards Blunsdon was struck by a small hatchback type vehicle.

The vehicle, which had a St George flag on the rear number plate and will have scuff marks to the nearside, had two occupants and was travelling towards Highworth. It stopped briefly after the collision before leaving the scene and leaving the pedestrian lying on the side of the road. He was conveyed to Great Western Hospital by ambulance where he was treated for his injuries.
