Swindon sisters Charice Gassman, 19, and Amberstasia GASSMAN, 23, appeared, via video link, at Bristol Crown Court on Tuesday 19 May 2015 charged with the murder of 49 year old Alison Connolly who lived at Penhill Drive.
No application for bail was made, during the short hearing and they are next due to appear at a preliminary hearing at Bristol Crown Court, on Tuesday 16 June.
Wiltshire Police are continuing with their investigations and are appealing for witnesses to the incident in the Parks area on Tuesday 12 May, in which Alison Connolly died. If anyone has any information they are asked to contact police on 101 or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
16 May: Two women appeared in Swindon magistrates court at 10.30am on Saturday 16 May charged with the murder of 49 year old Alison Connolly of Penhill Drive, Swindon.
Charice Gassman, aged 19, and Amberstasia Gassman, aged 23, both of Swindon, were remanded in custody and will appear at Bristol Crown Court on Tuesday 19 May.

15 May: The family of Alison Connolly, who died following a fatal stabbing in Parks, Swindon, have released a picture of her.
Alison, 49, of Penhill Drive, Swindon, was stabbed following a serious assault in a communal area at the bottom of a stairway in Evelyn House on Tuesday 12th May 2015.
Three women, aged 19, 19 and 23, and all from Swindon, remain in police custody this morning after officers were granted a 36-hour extension on 14 May.
Witnesses to the incident, or anybody who was in the area of Evelyn House on Tuesday between midday and 5pm, are urged to contact police on 101.

14 May: Swindon stabbing murder. Police secure 36 hour extension to question three women
Wiltshire Police have confirmed that a 36-hour extension of custody for the three women arrested in connection with the death of a Swindon woman has been granted.
The three women from Swindon, aged 19, 19 and 23, were arrested on Tuesday 12 May 2015 after police were called to Evelyn House in Parks at approximately 3.45pm, following a report of a serious assault in a communal area at the bottom of a stairway.
The victim, Alison Connolly, aged 49, of Penhill Drive, Swindon, suffered a serious stab wound and was taken to the Great Western Hospital by ambulance but died.
Detective Inspector Tim Corner, of the Major Crime Investigation Team, is urging any witnesses to the incident to call police on 101 immediately. Alternatively, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be left anonymously if preferred.
12 May Wiltshire Police are appealing for information following a fatal stabbing in Park North, Swindon
At approximately 3.45pm on Tuesday 12th May 2015, police were called to Evelyn House following a report of a serious assault in a communal area at the bottom of a stairway. The victim had suffered a serious stab wound.
She was taken to the Great Western Hospital by ambulance but sadly died. Although formal identification has not yet taken place, Wiltshire Police believe the deceased to be Alison Connolly, aged 49, of Penhill Drive, Swindon.
Three women, aged 19, 19 and 23 from Swindon, have been arrested in connection with the death. All three women remain in police custody at this stage.
Detective Inspector Tim Corner, from the Major Crime Investigation Team, said: “We are treating this as a murder investigation and our thoughts remain with the victim's family at this difficult time.
“We are conducting a thorough and detailed investigation. We have a Major Incident Room set up at Gablecross Police Station in Swindon, from which enquiries are being co-ordinated. A police cordon remains at the scene today while forensic examinations take place.
“I would like to appeal to anyone who was in the Park North area on Tuesday 12th May 2015, especially anyone who was in the Cavendish Square, Royston Road or Evelyn House area, between the hours of midday and 5pm, and who may have seen or heard anything suspicious, to contact us immediately.
“This incident happened during daylight, in a fairly busy area. There would have been a number of people in the vicinity at the time and I would be keen to hear from them.
Superintendent Andrew Carr added: “Any information, no matter how small, may be significant to our investigation. I understand that the Parks community, as well as the wider Swindon community, will be concerned by this incident. However, I would like to reassure them that we believe this to be an isolated incident.
“We are working hard with our partner agencies to provide reassurance and support for those members of the community affected by this and there will be an enhanced and visible police presence in the area throughout this time.”
