Recent burglaries in Swindon believed to be linked

Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses to two break-ins which are believed to be linked.

Both break-ins took place overnight between 10 and 11 October. In the first incident, unknown offender(s) managed to get in through an insecure rear door at an address on Whitbourne Avenue, Swindon. An i-Pad was taken.

In the second incident, unknown offender(s) got in through an open window at a property on Kinsgwood Avenue, Swindon but were disturbed and left empty handed.

PC Kerry Vicat said: "We believe these could be linked - if you heard or saw anything suspicious in this area during this time or can help with our enquiries please contact me, PC Kerry Vicat, on 101 or anonymously, via Crimestoppers, on 0800 555 111."
