The Brunel shopping centre is searching for nominations for two people to have a style makeover as part of their Love Fashion weekend, taking place between 11 and 13 May.
The weekend celebrates the latest trends to hit the high street as well as encouraging people to look again at their current wardrobe and make it work, together with selected new pieces, for the season.
The Brunel’s retailers will be joined by The Secret Stylist, Natasha Musson, for an exclusive, ticket-holder only event, the Recycle My Style VIP fashion show from 6pm on Friday 11 May.
In addition to showing how to take your style from day to night, special occasion dressing and how to inject a revamp into your style, Natasha will give two lucky people a complete makeover including hair, makeup and clothes.
To be in with a chance of receiving the makeover, The Brunel is asking for nominations from across the town of people who deserve a makeover - maybe they’ve devoted themselves to a good cause and could use a few hours of pampering, or has a heart of gold and a makeover would be a perfect way to say thank you for all they do.
Nominations can be made by emailing [email protected] with ‘Recycle My Style Makeover’ in the subject line, explaining why they are deserving in no more than 250 words. Nominations close on Tuesday 1 May and nominees must be available for the makeover from 3pm on Friday 11 May.
There will also be a swap rail for guests on the evening to make the most of by bringing along an unwanted item of clothing, which can then be swapped for something else from the rail. Any leftover items at the end of the night will be donated to our chosen charity, Uplands Charitable Trust.
Tickets for the Recycle My Style VIP night must be booked in advance and cost £7 and include a goody bag.

We’re very lucky to have The Secret Stylist join us for the Recycle My Style VIP fashion show – her vibrant eye for fashion can be turned to suit anyone and we’re sure guests will learn a lot from her about how to make the most of your current wardrobe with just a few key seasonal buys.
“This is also the first time we’ve offered a complete makeover to two lucky people too. We know that there are so many people who do so much across Swindon, and so we want to hear about who you couldn’t live without and who would love an afternoon of pampering at The Brunel.”
Over the weekend there will also be lots of fashion-focussed fun across the centre with beauty bars, hair and make-up demonstrations, giveaways, a VIP night stylist and a silent disco.
